30A Distilling Co Craft whiskey

Our first whiskeys were three versions of unaged whiskey. One with red corn, one with white corn, and one with blue corn from Murphy Farms.

Our aged whiskeys, which use organic yellow corn, Jimmy Red corn, and some barley — all come from Murphy Farms in Jennings, FL.

Our grain-to-glass whiskey features suppliers and growers in the region.

 

Murphy Farms focuses on growing corn that is sustainable and provides local options for Florida companies such as 30A Distilling Co.

30A Distilling Co works in partnership with Sugarfield Spirits, a craft distillery located in Gonzalez, LA.

Owned and operated by 30A co-owner Dr. Thomas Soltau, Sugarfield is where 30A first began development as a company. 

 

Brian and Thomas are lifelong friends who both dove into the world of distilling after finding success in other careers. When Thomas founded Sugarfield, he became Brian’s distilling mentor and provided an opportunity for Brian to recipe test; eventually leading to the development of the first 30A spirits. For this reason, Sugarfield Spirits is another home to 30A Distilling Co. 

Sugarfield Spirits remains an important part of 30A; acting as a sister company and production facility, supporting our growth and success. Brian travels frequently to Gonzales, LA to distill and check on resting 30A spirits. Be sure to check out their website and sample their delicious spirits!
