In the past decade, craft distillers around the globe have offered their own contributions to the world of whiskey, creating an exciting new space for innovation. When setting out to create a Florida Bourbon, we drew our inspiration from the natural beauty of the beaches along HWY 30A. We knew we wanted something pristine — an easy drinking whiskey that captured the gulf coast spirit. After a meticulous production process of sourcing, blending and aging 4 at least years, our Blue Mountain Beach Bourbon was born.
Inspired by the stunning simplicity of the west end spot it’s named for, Blue Mountain Beach Bourbon gets back to the basics. You won’t find any impossible to decipher ingredient list here — our Florida bourbon is made only with corn, malted barley, rye, water and yeast. No caramel coloring or flavor additives needed. We hand select our Bourbon barrels from our sister distillery, Sugarfield Spirits, and then run numerous experiments to highlight the nuances of the mash bill and tailor it for the southern palate.
Blue Mountain Beach Bourbon is released in distinct batches, each with its own character and complexity. Our Bourbon has a soft natural sweetness, allowing the drinker to appreciate the flavor of the corn. Sip neat or enjoy over ice to allow the flavors to bloom. Splashing In The Surf
1.5 oz Blue Mountain Beach Bourbon
.5 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
.5 oz simple syrup
5 - 6 fresh blackberries
Muddle blackberries in a rocks glass. Add other ingredients over ice. Top with a splash of club soda and stir gently to combine. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
